Meet the Team
Chrysanthi Avloniti
I studied acting at the Greek National Theatre Drama School in Athens and devised theatre and performance at the London International School of Performing Arts in London.
I have taken part in numerous theatre productions at the National Theatre of Greece and at the Athens and Epidaurus Festival. I have also collaborated with the Philippi Festival, the Municipal & Regional Theatre of Kavala and Serres as well as many independent theatre organizations both in Greece and abroad.
My endless desire to create original work; to explore; to re-evaluate my practice and to speak my own voice were the reasons why I formed Monamas Theatre Company which signifies a fascinating new development for me as an emerging stage director and producer.

Anna Kritikou
I started my theatre education with a BA in Acting at the Greek National Theatre Drama School, followed by an MA in Music Theatre at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London.
​
During my theatre training I developed a growing interest in the way the body moves and functions. This interest opened the door to the field of somatics, where I first trained as a Yoga Teacher and I continued along that route, training as an Alexander Technique Instructor at the London Centre of Alexander Technique and Training.

At the moment I find myself in a creative conversation between the body and the stage and being part of monamas theatre company provides me with an amazing space to explore this world in depth.
